Our Vision
The mission of Yuba County Community Services Commission is to identify the needs of the low-income population, and deploy resources to improve their lives and achieve the goal of reducing poverty.
2026-2027 AREAS OF PRIORITY SERVICE
Increase homelessness prevention and reduction services
(including financial literacy, rent/deposit assistance)
Expand access to health services
(including mental, behavioral, physical, locational, alcohol/substance abuse)
Improve access to food and basic needs
Increase affordable housing choices
Increase public transportation and mobility assistance
The membership of the Commission consists of at least one-third low-income community members, one-third public officials or their designees, and up to one-third private sector leaders.
