To combat poverty by empowering local agencies that represent the needs of low-income residents.
The mission of Yuba County Community Services Commission is to identify the needs of the low-income population, and deploy resources to improve their lives and achieve the goal of reducing poverty.
2024-2025 AREAS OF PRIORITY SERVICE
Homelessness prevention and reduction
Access to Health Services (Including mental, behavioral, physical, locational and alcohol/substance abuse)
Food security
The membership of the Commission consists of at least one-third low-income community members, one-third public officials or their designees, and up to one-third private sector leaders.
